  • Finds time for you

    "Alex, block two hours Thursday morning for deep work."

    Focus time and personal reminders go straight in your calendar. Nobody else is involved.

  • Finds time with others

    "Alex, find us 30 minutes with Dana next week."

    Alex emails them, offers hours you're free, and books it once everyone agrees. Up to four people.

  • Working from somewhere else

    "Alex, I'm in Berlin. Block 2pm Wednesday local time."

    You get the hour you meant, and your calendar stays in its own timezone.

  • A rough window

    "Alex, something towards the end of next week."

    Alex reads that as a constraint and offers a few times across different days.

  • Standing preferences

    "Alex, keep Fridays clear from now on."

    Working hours, buffers, no-meeting days, how long a meeting runs by default. Change them whenever.

  • Moving and cancelling

    "Alex, move Thursday's call to Friday morning."

    Anything Alex booked, it can move or call off, and it'll tell everyone who needs to know.

Questions

Is Alex a real person?

No. Alex is an AI, and it says so whenever anyone asks. It writes like a capable assistant because that reads better, never to pass as human.

Do any other participants need an account?

No. To them Alex is just someone on the thread who emails about times. Nothing to install, no booking link, no signup.

Does Alex read my inbox?

Never. Alex only sees threads you CC it on. On your calendar it reads free and busy blocks, nothing more. It can tell that a slot is taken, but it can't see the title of the meeting or who else is going.

What calendar do I need?

Google, for now. You connect it once when you sign up. The people you're scheduling with can be on anything.

Do I approve emails before they go out?

No, Alex sends them. You're copied on every one, so you see what went out as it goes. Reply to any of them to correct it and Alex picks that up.

What if someone asks Alex about something else?

It says that isn't what it does, and flags the message to you. If they asked for a meeting in the same email, that part still happens. What they wanted gets logged, which is where the coming soon list came from.
